The Wilson Family...
(Minister: 2001 - )

The Induction Day - click for a larger picture.The Rev. Paul Wilson BSc BD MTh, was inducted as our new minister on 23rd June 2001.  He worked part-time for a few weeks, getting to know his new “family”, until he moved into the manse in July 2001.   So that you may get to know him, and his family, a little better, here is a “taster” of what is in store. (Click on any image for a larger picture.)

Education: Bangor Grammar School; Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh; Baptist College and Queens University, Belfast (has had far too many exams!)
Previous job - Town Planner in Outer Glasgow (good to know if you are planning an extension!)
Other information - Known as “Paddy” at University in Scotland; Fell for Anne as she owned a brilliant Yamaha guitar! Has a reputation for leading hikes and getting lost - although, in fairness, everyone gets home - eventually!

Education: Wishaw High School, Glasgow;
University: Moray House College of Education, Edinburgh (Guess whom she met while distracted there?)
Previous jobs: Survived (just about) six years teaching languages in a comprehensive school near Glasgow. Since then has taught English as a foreign language and Basic Skills to adults (as well as to her kids!).
Other information: Called by her middle name - her first name is Isobel; has been known to call (in both senses) for ceilidhs; and is presently learning Japanese.

Annabelle - click for a larger picture.Annabelle: Born 1990 in Eastbourne (Dad floated out of hospital on Cloud Nine!).
Education: Final year of junior school, about to move to secondary.

Education: At the same very large junior school as his sister.
Interests: Digimon; Wind in the Willows; Beano (Dennis the Menace provides a useful role model!); and swimming.
Other Information: Two middle names - Robert Kirk; “Big Interest” at the moment is “Alice in Wonderland” and “Alice through the Looking Glass” (his prize possession is a Wonderland pop-up book and he has made cardboard figures to act out the Alice Stories) - though all this might be out of date by the time we move!
